My plan is to develop a independently owned web developer business. To do this I will ensure that I keep up to date with all web based programming techniques. This is to ensure that I produce high quality web products to my clients. I want to produce these high quality web products to not only impress my current clients but also to reflect well in my professional portfolio. Maintaining a high quality and respectable portfolio is the key to the web industry.

As part of my goal to maintain a highly profession portfolio I plan on joining a few organizations like IEEE or CIPS because membership is based on standards of quality and as such will reflect very well in my portfolio.

The main thing for me to remember is to be ensure that the jobs I take on when building web applications is that they will reflect well in my portfolio. The intent has a infamous reputation and I need to ensure jobs I take don’t taint the professional portfolio I hope to maintain.
